What's your reaction when you get an invite for a brainstorming meeting?

If your response is negative, you're not alone. Most brainstorming sessions are inefficient, with a few people yelling out ideas while the rest zone out. This is due in large part to how people approach the meeting: They fail to prepare participants, they don't facilitate an attitude of openness and non-judgement, and they don't know what to do with all the ideas generated during the meeting.

This social event encouraged to spark ideas needs structure and processes to be successful and useful.

If you're frustrated with the results of your latest brainstorming meeting, check out this infographic from WriteMyEssays. It details how to prepare for the meeting and what you should do after to make group brainstorming more productive.
