The one statistic that stuck out the most to me was that 90% of consumers trust peer reviews and only 14% trust advertisements. Sayonara outbound marketing.

The 100 Awesome Marketing Charts e-book is great! I had an idea of some of those statistics, but not to that depth (or height, as the case may be). I have embraced FB, LinkedIn, and blogging…looks like I need to get onto Twitter as well. It is always good to stay on top of industry trends, especially when the industry is changing so rapidly.

Very interesting stats, should've kept with the same music theme from the previous release .. Right here right now is just so appealing. This theme, bored me and I found myself to be disengaging in about 20 seconds.

It is amazing to see how the social channel of Facebook and the business channel of Linkedin group more and more people tagged by demographics everyday. Yes, they offer various options to market to their members, but clearly there are opportunities for them to introduce new business models that can drive the value even further. We at www.shalomcanada.com have experimented more than once with viral marketing over the networks and found it to be very effective with results varying from 20% - 27% depending on messages. Our normal conversion is under 7%.
