How to Generate Links that Tweet [Free Tool]

.

twitter birdOne of the easiest ways to get your latest blog post or content offer to explode is by getting your audience to help share the content with their networks. Nothing says "You should take a look at this" more than social proof.

One of the hardest things to do, of course, is make it super easy to for your audience to do this sharing. Well, until now.

If you've ever wanted to make a link that would prepopulate a Twitter message, you've probably read a bunch of blogs, and then had to manually edit a link and add "pluses" to replace your spaces, and its just a pain. Next time, just use this:

Put the message you want your audience to Tweet in the "Your Message" box, hit Go, and copy the link from the bottom box. Make sure to shorten any URLs before using this tool, and it'll take care of you.

From here, go to your blog post or Thank You page, add in your favorite "Tweet This" icon, and use the link from above as the desination. Make sure its set to open in a new window, and you're good to go.

I'll save this link with a description of what you're offering on my website so I can find it when I want it. Thank you!

We have a more advanced version that we are launching on Monday! But it is functional and you can check out now at <a>http://bit.ly/ixo5er and with it you can incorporate buttons in your blog to explode your Twitter marketing simply by providing many quotes for people to easily promote you with just two clicks! Try it out! It is funny that Hubspot came out with this as it was first Michael Stelzner and his article http://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/how-to-add-retweet-buttons-in-your-pdf-documents/ about this subject that got me interested in doing http://bit.ly/ixo5er but it was taking the hubspot university courses that gave me the drive to go ahead with it! Thank you both for the inspiration and hope that you will start using and tweeting about our free service!

Thanks for making this post and providing this tool. One of my goal with twitter has been to increase the number of followers. While, apparently, the relationship with followers could make a difference, I still want to increase this base in the first steps.

Thanks Hubspot. You're tools always rock! Gonna be using this on our blog.

@Rey, I wish you had launched this two weeks ago, or I wouldn't have needed to write a tool. My Google-fu kept coming up with blog articles on what a link needed to look like, but nothing on creating them in a semi-automated method.

@Tikyd, great to hear, but don't forget that you can always have the "Tweet" badge that could be on each blog post, just like it is on this blog.

@Juice Marketing, anytime :)

@Juice, sorry about that. http://bit.ly/ixo5er was ready but it looked terrible that is why we are holding it back so we can make it look a bit better. Also ours has a slightly different purpose as it is used by visitors to easily retweet without thinking and not necessarily the owner (although I am the first to use with with each blog)! My original version to use for myself looked alot like yours!
