The only reason why we're so glued to text is that search engines are essentially text-based. Once they figure out how to include visual information into algos, visual content might triple or quadruple in importance. And not just in social media, but in SEM and SEO too.

I 100% agree with this post. Great information, I really enjoyed reading it. I work as part of a marketing firm and there is often disagreement when discussing including images. I think it is a necessity to include visual images

Great article. Love the engagement functions you built in with each section having the ability to tweet. Most people are visual so I agree with your assessment. People have also gotten lazy - they only want to read headlines or 140 characters. Imagery, Infographics and such, make it easier to engage.
