So sad to hear he passed away. I saw him a few years ago when I was in sales and was really motivated by him. Even today, as I struggle to shift my career where I truly want it to be, his words still ring true. Thanks HubSpot.

I met Zig before an event in Milwaukee years ago. I'll never forget that event. I was standing next to a nicely dressed man in the Restroom. We both ended up at the sinks washing our hands. He looked at me and said, " Excited to see this guy?" Oh ya. I said-I have been reading his books and listening to his tapes for years! He saw the book under my arm and asked to see it. I have not looked this person straight in the face. Then I saw his smile and I just then realized it was Zig himself. His asked if I would like the book signed. All I could say was yes sir and Thank you very much! His signature read, " S.Y.A.T. " Thanks for washing your hands Pete!" Zig Ziglar

I have been a student of Zig over 30 years, attended many of his Seminars, read his books, listened to his tapes and finally met him in Miami at a Hotel where I was working as a Doorman. I went on to start a Direct Sales company built on his philosophy... "You can get everything you want if you help others get what they want." THANKS ZIG. RIP and I will "See you at the Top.".

I have been a student for almost all of my 40 year sales and marketing career and listened to a lot of his tapes. The one that impressed me most was his Christian Testimony which he told in his naturally wonderful story telling manner. His company used to send it free for the asking. God rest you Zig. For those of us who believe, he is surely in heaven telling the angels one more story about being positive.

It makes me so grateful that I went to see Zig Ziglar at the Selland Arena in Fresno. My friend Michael McGinnis introduced me to his books and tapes in 1987 and they have been life, changing. When he could not make it to the Save Mart Center a few years ago I was so disappointed until his daughter Julie Ziglar Norman walked onto the stage and began to speak. He truly has passed on a legacy of love and inspiration! He is alive and inspiring people today in his daughter Julie. It is so sad that at this time she has to grieve the loss, of her loving father and one of the most inspiring personalities of our time. Julie my prayers are with you today and for the coming months as you grieve. My father is a year younger than yours and when you spoke in Fresno you touched my heart because your love for your father inspired me to love you more. I can’t write this without crying. You fathers work came into my life in 1987 at a time that I embarked on a journey you spoke about in Fresno. Thank you.
