I like the analysis, although it sounds like its meant to be at least partly self-serving :-) The problem with inbound SEO based approach is that there are too many scams out there in the market. There is a glut of SEO gurus. It would be great to see some data about someone who switched to 90% inbound like you suggest. microsoft test Your site and Website grader are both terrific. This is not a criticism of your site/service.

Regarding business- vs personal-facebook (social media) identities.

I agree with much of what you say regarding maintaining ONE social media site (eg: Facebook) and keeping content legit. That strategy does NOT address the situation when a long-last frat brother posts an embarrassing image from 1979 and tags you. SOmetimes you do NOT control content about yourself on these sites.

What about video? Video seems to be a popular way to distribute content across social media, search engines, website, etc. We all use youtube, but there's a company calledwww.adwido.com that'll help you market your video and give you a FREE account.
