Well at least with the list you see where you stand with people Again I think its a way to gain insight to what people think.

Just block the person who has listed you.

Yeah, but that seems a little silly, doesn't it? Why should you have to block that person just to remove yourself from a list. :P

Nice and funny cartoon. Well you always have the chance to block and unblock the owner of that list and that will do the magic of removing you from 'the list'

The way lists are currently implemented certainly has its problems. I'm on some list by @bbw_escort_xxl. How or why I could begin to explain...

I'm okay with the Twitter lists, but I am really freaked out that somehow my "following" number keeps growing and I am not the one doing the adding. Feels like the invasion of the "twitter snatchers"

Ach.. mostly you can just suck it up. If it feels intrusive or libelous then you can block or sue - depending on how fierce you feel.

I think it's great to let you know where you stand in the eyes of others but I def agree that there should be an option to remove yourself from a list.

Lists are great way for you to gauge what people think of you. You shouldn't block them to get rid of them. On the other side, there are/will be trolls if you're popular enough for them to pay attention.

In this example (fake as it may be) embrace it and make it part of your personality just as your mustache is obviously part of your real life personality.

I was wondering about the lists - Now I see the advantages and the disadvantages. It is a little misunderstood. I do not know why the problem exists of removal.

Don should start a list called @TweetsWithStupidTwitterLists and add the Tweeter that start the list and everyone else following it.

What's the big deal anyway. So, you are listed on some random lists. Most reasonable people (potential clients/business partners) will understand and be willing to not put so much emphasis on a "twitter list".

there are far more important things to worry about. did u call back on the client as you promised? is your service quality good/poor? are you networking enough? are you working effectively (free yourself from doing mindless or small tasks that don't add to bottom line results? yes internet marketing is great, but why sweat over something like this?

cheers, everybody!! have a prosperous 2010

btw, when i said "why sweat small stuff like this", i am talking about twitter lists, not internet marketing as a whole.

just want to clarify since i believe internet marketing done right is a must for every business or at the very least most businesses
