I'm not sure yet how Google Buzz will affect our marketing strategy. Until it becomes more widely used, it's difficult to say how much it will become a part of our social media use.

By flying like a bee and buzzing creative words into their nectar starved ears and thoughts.. buzz buzz

Unfortunately, Google Buzz won't help our inbound marketing strategy yet, because the strategy is still being developed. Once it is, I'm sure that sharing content to followers on Google Buzz will help the content gain visibility to the buzz users and make it show in their social search results.

Google Buzz changes the purpose of statuses from sharing about yourself to sharing interesting information. What Google Buzz will do for a marketing strategy is attract people with the same interests, not necessarily those who are interested in you. It'll help build up a base of followers who feel more closely connected due to the relationship build on news and interesting articles.

When I first read your post about Google Buzz a few days ago, I immediately followed the steps you laid out. But I have to say, I'm still a little fuzzy on how to integrate this into my overall inbound marketing strategy.

So far Google Buzz appears as though it can build the presence of my blogs and in turn my business through SEO. The more I promote my blog and business the more I'll rank in SEO. Also, the more Buzz followers I have that Buzz or reBuzz my content the greater my presence resulting in a higher or more frequent rank. However, I have yet to form a strategy for using Buzz. I'm still working on a Buzz and hoping to not be hung over in the end.

Wow--I can't believe you've all swallowed the KoolAid. Buzz uploaded a pic from my phone without my permission, and suddenly I'm "autofollowing" people I scarcely remember. Since I have personal gmail accounts in addition to a business one, this is not cool. I don't appreciate Google invading my privacy without my consent, and if I could delete one of these accounts without deleting gmail altogether, I would.

I know anytime google announces something it's big news, buzz buzz, but I think we all have to wait a bit till this hashes itself out to really see what the effect on marketing will/can be

To buzz or to tweet... that is the question. I love the concept of bringing a more social atmosphere right to my gmail where I spend most of my personal time, but that's exactly my issue. My gmail is my personal mail. My contacts range from friends and family, to random correspondances that I certainly wouldn't want to "buzz" to. Granted I can follow whomever I want, but what if my plumber starts following me? I don't think my inbound marketing strategies will need to include my personal contacts, but I'll be following buzz to see how it progresses.

Inbound Marketing Strategy? Google Buzz is our answer. Connected by more than our common passion, work & gmail accounts, now our company is can be connected with a buzz. Success internally within an organization is key to success externally. Buzz can be that connecting factor, both internally & externally!

I think Google Buzz is going to really open up microblogging to the masses. Even though Twitter has gone "mainstream" it still isn't used by even a fraction of the market that uses Google, Gmail or Facebook on a daily basis. Integrating a microblogging service right into their email program will allow people to try it out and follow some friends.

I doubt it can knock Twitter off the top, but think it will help to mature the industry and ultimately expose more people (and brands) to social media. It's definitely going to be a positive thing.

BTW, looking forward to winning my new MacBook. ;)

Of course, we will use Google Buzz. Google is so desperate that they sign me up with followers automatically right away. We have to give them a plug. We feel bad for poor little Google and its Buzz. Besides, how much more work is another social media vehicle anyway. - Maybe you guys at HubSpot should create a social media thingy for all social media sites out there. Only social media sites can become members and do social media amongst each other: SocialMediaSquare.com The site will be second to Facebook and will trump even Facebook at some point. Good luck!

I would be interested to see how useful Buzz will be for business; right now it's just a lot of noise. Focus and attention will be key to avoid being distracted!

Bzzzzt! That's the sound of the Buzz hitting the wall, just like the Bee who got to close and was swatted for fear of it' sting. Buzz is innocuous, until it has a following like FB and Twitter...(and I don't count the fact that there are more Gmail accounts as actual users). We will keep our eyes opened, but right now....it's too early to tell if it's worth the effort or the resources. Goggle Docs took a long time to catch on too.

Our clients think we're very noisy with all the tweeting and now the buzzing. But we are still (Buzz) lightyears away from seeing any real difference. Sometimes, on a friday we might get buzzed and follow a lot of people, but otherwise we'll tell them to buzz off.

Seriously though, I think all the buzz will eventually led to the next big thing that Google will push. For now, we're just encouraging clients to stay on the cutting edge - right near the buzz-line.

Google Buzz will not affect our marketing strategy directly, though I do think that it is a turning point in social media strategy and inbound marketing. Streamlined social media conversations is a MUST, because all of the "buzz" is getting to be pesky.

What's the buzz about? It's not Google specifically, its just another efficient tool the Google-machine has turned out. It will start a trend of streamlined online communication that will save the sanity of marketing/social marketing experts. THANK YOU GOOGLE! I may be able to bypass social media rehab with a tool like this after it's honed a bit further.

Much like Twitter, the real opportunities will be leveraging the Google Buzz information. I think we will see another great chance to innovate, much like what happened with twitter apps and geo-location spin-offs. The difference may be that users will actually be friends in real life with the people on their buzz list since the logical first adds for users are their current email contacts.

Google Buzz is absolutely fantastic because it will help me win this beautiful MacBook. :) I'll be so happy winning it that my inbound marketing ideas will be in alignment with my winning feeling – it'll be a win-win situation! From this MacBook I will produce so many fantastic ideas for my site and that will give me more business opportunities, more costumers, more friends. Google Buzz will help me improve my SEO, help me connect with influence people, with people with the same interest, it will give me the chance that people hear about me. Also, Google Buzz will help me connect with fantastic HubSpot people! The amazing thing is that Gmail already connects me with my business partners and with my friends and now will be more in touch. They will frequently know the news about my business.

So, Google Buzz will give me MacBook and I will improve my business. What else could I ask for?! :)

I'm reading more and more negative comments about google buzz. Even their product manager said, "their testing sucked donkey balls...". You can't un-buzz without getting rid of your whole google profile. And... they've received a FTC complaint for security issues like building your followers/following lists from address books.

well, google trying to create such a buzz in social media, thus people are being connected so easily (it an automated way) with Google buzz. In the meantime, they already became the competitor of twitter and by using twitter lots of geeks became web celebrity. Same way, lots of selecting as first choice twitter for marketing of their company and easier to direct communications with customers. Same way, Google Buzz will do the same things in short time, they lead more and as well bring more people together so that that will help me to extend my business in Google Buzz, of-course it should be better then Twitter. Atleast, I don't need to manually follow my friends and family and let me tell about my company.

The answer to the question is in the question itself. You're wondering how Google Buzz will get you more customers and more people interested in your business and you've already done it. You turned a new advancement from one of the biggest companies on the planet to directly benefit you. You have hundreds of people following your company on Google Buzz and all you had to do was post a little blog with a link. I hope that answers your question :D

I think Google Buzz will have a great impact on our lives. It will be a great, convenient online store (yes, nowadays, why go to a real store? Just kidding!) Between work and meetings, many individuals don't have time to actually go to the store, which is why Google Buzz will succeed. It is a great idea.

Always be part of the solution not the problem. The only variable that remains constant is change. Show me your friends and I'll show you your future," is a great saying because it's true! The people and influences we surround ourselves with play a huge role in how we think, act and form our own aspirations. Rearrange your environment to include more positive, proactive, prosperous, generous and happy
