Data Shows Facebook Users "Like" Food Pages [Infographic]

Using Facebook Grader data, I looked at our collection of over half a million pages to start to understand the characteristics of good (highly liked) Facebook pages.

In our dataset, the average Facebook page has 624 fans, but I found that pages that mention certain kinds of food (mostly unhealthy but delicious foods) have far more fans.

Thanks for this short post Dan. I've recently started a Facebook page for my recipe website. I was wondering how to increase the number of 'likes' when at the moment there's not a lot going on because there aren't many members yet. How to get a buzz when there's too few people to create a buzz with?
