Free - No Form - Excerpt from MarketingSherpa's 2011 Search Marketing Benchmark Report

If you think social media marketing has no impact on PPC performance, think again.

According to the researchers at MarketingSherpa , across the board active social media marketers had better PPC results than their non-social media user counterparts.

Jen Doyle, senior research analyst for this new report , states, "When a brand has an increased awareness and improved reputation and PR, search engine users are more likely to click through on their PPC ads because they may have already heard of this brand, and they may already have a positive impression of this brand from the different things they've heard about them through social media."

We just had to share this free, no-form-required, excerpt from MarketingSherpa's 2011 Search Marketing Benchmark Report - PPC Edition.  In it you’ll discover how much better lead gen, click-through rates, conversions and other results can be when social marketing tactics are combined with this particular paid media tactic.

In addition to improved PPC clickthrough rates, another compelling case for integrating social media into search campaigns is that it will improve PPC conversion rates.

On average, those companies "that are social media users receive conversion rates that are 25% higher than organizations that are non-social media users."

Are you a PPC junkie?  Have you thought about using social media to increase visibility to your prospects?
