HSBlog30-Tip16From January 2-31, we are challenging everyone to blog more to see firsthand the results that blogging can generate. Participating companies should submit their blog URLs on this page to enter the challenge. Winner(s) will receive a complimentary ticket to INBOUND 2014 and be featured on the HubSpot Inbound Marketing blog.

Today's blogging tip is brought to you by Doug Davidoff, CEO at Imagine Business Development:

"When writing a post, there's a very simple thing I do to ensure it has the most impact possible. I ask myself who I'm writing this for (making sure I'm clear on my buyer persona), and then, as I write the post, I picture that persona sitting in front of me and I answer two questions:

1) What is the one (and only one) thing I want them to remember after reading this post?
2) What is the one (and only one) thing I want them to do as a result of reading this post?

I then write the post as if they were sitting with me and I was sharing my knowledge directly."

Did you blog today? If yes, submit to the challenge!
