Sometimes a deal goes stale. The prospect was talking with you and seemed interested ... but now, weeks (or even months) later, they’ve gone cold.
An email sent to revive a stalled deal is different than most other sales sends. Whereas you might have included some small talk or personal chit chat in other messages, it’s important to get straight to the point with a contact who's fallen off the map. Also, reps hoping to re-engage a prospect gone cold would be wise to include crystal clear next steps, to ensure the buyer knows what to do if they want to continue.
Not sure where to start? The following sales email template from MTD Sales Training -- coming in at a whopping 23 words -- might just provide you with the necessary jolt of inspiration. Customize for your own purposes and send this follow up template in order to prompt your buyer to pick up the conversation where you left off.
