Email to Customers: HubSpot Has Acquired Performable

The following is the text of an email sent to all HubSpot customers today by HubSpot founders Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah.

Dear HubSpot Customer,

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with you. Today, HubSpot has acquired Performable, the most innovative marketing automation software provider on the market.

This acquisition will enable us to do three exciting new things:

1. Deliver the world’s best MoFu (Middle of the Funnel) functionality. Think advanced landing page optimization, sophisticated audience segmentation, event-based triggering of lead nurturing emails, and powerful analytics that will super-charge your ability to manage all of the leads you’re generating through HubSpot.

2. Grow with you. Our existing product was designed with small to medium-sized businesses in mind. Performable’s technology, designed for bigger businesses, will make it possible for HubSpot to serve you as you grow.

3. Evolve faster. We’re welcoming 18 stellar new employees to HubSpot.
