Every day, HubSpot’s collection of tools changes, evolves, and grows as our product team acts on feedback and finds new ways to help you solve your marketing and sales challenges. We often hear from our customers that one of the most exciting things about using HubSpot is that it is constantly getting better in ways they didn’t expect.
But as great as a steady stream of improvements can be, keeping up with everything can be tough. For a lot of our customers, HubSpot now powers different teams and parts of their companies, some of whom aren’t always as plugged in as the marketing team may be.
Introducing Product Updates
To help you learn, digest, and put all of these product improvements to use, we are excited to introduce Product Updates.
Product Updates aims to be the go-to place to find out about what’s new in the HubSpot Platform. When a meaningful new feature or improvement rolls out, you’ll be able to find a post on Product Updates with useful details on what it is, how to use it, and links to more in-depth resources like help articles, Academy content, or videos.
Find the updates you care about
To make it easier to find the updates that matter most to you, you’ll notice that every post on Product Updates is categorized by the product area it fits into, and by importance. For example, if you only care about important updates to HubSpot CRM, you can find them here. If you want to see the (very large) list of every update, you can filter down to that, too.
Other ways to stay up-to-date
Product Updates is a new tool in our arsenal of ways to keep our users and customers up to date about what’s new in HubSpot. Here’s a quick reminder about some of the other places you can find details on product changes or updates in HubSpot.
The Notification Center - Have you noticed this icon in your HubSpot navigation before? When there is a meaningful update to the product, we post it here, in the Notification Center. This is also an easy place to access any past data exports you’ve requested.
Product Update Emails - When there is a substantial product update (e.g., a major new feature roll-out, or an update that might change how you are used to doing things), we’ll send you an email ahead of time to help you prepare. In the coming months, also be on the lookout for a monthly product update email that digests recent changes we think you might be interested in.
Inbound.org, the Academy Blog & Documentation - Sometimes a product change or new feature warrants a deeper dive. These deeper dives are the kind of content you’ll find right here on the Academy Blog, and on occasion in a post on Inbound.org.
Have thoughts? We're all ears.
We're constantly thinking about and looking for new ways to make it easier for you to stay up to date on what's new and what's going on in the HubSpot product. Have ideas or questions? Let us know in the comments. In the meantime, check out Product Updates at hubspot.com/product-updates.
