In HubSpot, you have the ability to track and optimize your ads experience all in one place. Now, as part of the core Marketing Hub, HubSpot’s ads tool works seamlessly alongside the rest of the features you know and love, making it easy to generate new leads and nurture them into loyal customers — all while spending your time and money wisely.
This ads tool makes it easy to attract, engage, and delight customers through cross-network creation and management, as well as measure the true impact of your paid strategy at every stage of your customer journey.
So how does it work? Let's dive in.
Connecting Your Accounts
Save time by managing your ads in the same place you manage the rest of your marketing campaigns. Once connected, any lead generated from one of your ads will automatically sync from the network to HubSpot. Capture new leads and start nurturing them into loyal customers immediately within HubSpot.
Here's how this can work with the rest of your Marketing Hub:
- Campaigns: Associate your ads with campaigns, and see how they’re driving revenue in relation to your other marketing assets.
- Workflows: When someone interacts with your ad, notify your team immediately, or enter that contact into a lead nurturing workflow automatically.
- Lists: Create lists of leads that have interacted with your ad to help qualify and properly segment your contacts. Smart content, anyone?
If you've connected your Facebook Ads or Google Ads account to HubSpot, you can target your Facebook and Google ads at specific audiences. Create one or more of these types of audiences to ensure your ads are reaching the right personas at the right stage of their buyer's journey.
You can use a website visitors audience to target your ads to people who have visited your website in the past. Your audience will include anyone who has visited your website in the last 60 days and will be available to use once your site receives 200 new visits.
If you have a Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise account, you can also create audiences to target specific HubSpot lists. Create custom lists to target visitors at different stages of their journey based on data from your HubSpot CRM. Any changes you make to lists will be reflected in the ad audience. This eliminates the need for manual uploads and enables automatic, ongoing targeting of prospects, subscribers, or any other audience you want to convert.
Expand your reach by creating Facebook lookalike audiences based on any of your existing audiences. Using this feature, you can target your Facebook ads to users who are similar to one of your existing website visitors or contact list audiences.
Not sure where to start with lookalike audiences? Use with your existing data to target ads at people who resemble your best customers, reducing friction in your sales process.
Monitor Your Campaigns
Ads are often only as good as their return on investment. So with the HubSpot ads tool? All your reporting is centralized in one, easy-to-use location. No need to constantly jump platform to platform to answer a question.
Clicks don’t equal money in the bank. The data you get from individual ad networks only gives you part of the picture. HubSpot’s ads tool goes a level deeper — giving you insight into how your ads are influencing contacts at every stage of the buyer’s journey.
Not only are you getting traditional ad metrics like impressions, clicks, and cost-per-click, but you'll also have access to data from your HubSpot CRM so that you can measure how many contacts, customers, and how much revenue each ad generated.
With attribution reporting, see which ads influenced everything from a contact’s first web session, all the way through to booking a meeting with your sales team. Then tie in your sales data so that you can accurately report on the ROI of your ad spend
Marketing can be a lot to juggle. But, your ads don’t have to be. Get started by connecting your ads account to HubSpot today.
