He even used what he'd learned from instant messaging with customers to become one of the first big social media marketing case studies.

Ramon was awarded “The 2011 Chicago Social Media Person of the Year Award” by the Chicago Social Media Marketing Group. His social media strategies were highlighted at Gravity Summit Harvard and streamed live on CNN.com in 2009. His fanatical attention to the customer experience has been coined #RamonWOW.
