LOL, I love this...and I think I know who inspired this cartoon ;-)
Dharmesh Shah 3:39 PM on March 04, 2009
Glad you liked it. And, for the record, I really didn't have anyone specific in mind when I came up with it.
gtamega 3:54 PM on March 04, 2009
Thats the kind of friend who I would stop following before the other shoe could even be tied

not a Dr of divinity, mind.
E Lee 4:00 PM on March 04, 2009
Great cartoon! I've stopped following so many people for this "disease"...
Rick Henderson 4:33 PM on March 04, 2009
Check out this funny twitter comic:

I never expected to find a HubSpot cartoon so similar to one from Penny-Arcade. They used rougher language, but the message is pretty much the same.
vancouver tweeter 4:52 PM on March 04, 2009
once someone whined about live-tweeting, which was exactly what i was doing at that moment for friends who couldn't make it to the event. i unfollowed immediately. his tweets were exactly the same as your comic above!
so... ditto E Lee
unfollow navel gazers immediately.

For die-hard tweeters:
roft= roll over the floor tweeting
tmao= tweeted my a o
:-)
Chad 8:56 PM on March 04, 2009
Now that made me laugh! I understand twitter, I just don't understand how people can be so die-hard about it...posting every single thing they do.
David Hines 9:47 PM on March 04, 2009
Some people struggle and need someone to talk to etc.
I'm here !

That's funny and in some cases true.
Zen Mommy 11:00 PM on March 04, 2009
loved it. reminds me of recent piece from john stewart's show. great clip on "twitterhea" like only john can do. thanks for the laugh.
Amit Garg 11:07 PM on March 04, 2009
Great visual to depict what few twitter 'addicts' do.
Vicki 12:51 AM on March 05, 2009
Cute. Nicely drawn. I like the facial expressions :-)
What amuses me most about this cartoon, the recent Doonesbury strips, and Jon Stewart's rif on Twitter is that we who use and like Twitter think the jokes are funny. What we don;t like are the self-styled pundits claiming that "Twitter is stupid because everyne who uses it..."
We know that yes, there are silly edge cases out there and the jokes highlight those. Jokes always highlight the silly edge cases.
]Here's hoping that poor guy on the couch finds some Twitter friends in a few weeks (and comes up with something more interesting to say!)
Beermatman 2:23 AM on March 05, 2009
Perhaps Tweeter should only allow tweets from people with "slipon" shoes! Only kidding.

julian 3:44 PM on March 08, 2009
What a stupid piece of crap, dont know how you can love that. I guess thats what make americans the dumbest mf on earth
Brenda 3:09 AM on March 09, 2009
Whoever wrote the above is NASTY and IGNORANT, I am American and don't feel that way for any other culture or race period.
You must be full jelousy or Just one of self mutilating type miserable bastards and or Bitches on drugs as well to make such an "imature" Trailer Trash type of comment.
Crawl back in your hole and lick your stench filled crevice a little longer!
Justin 12:54 AM on June 10, 2009
