Glad you liked it. And, for the record, I really didn't have anyone specific in mind when I came up with it.

I never expected to find a HubSpot cartoon so similar to one from Penny-Arcade. They used rougher language, but the message is pretty much the same.

once someone whined about live-tweeting, which was exactly what i was doing at that moment for friends who couldn't make it to the event. i unfollowed immediately. his tweets were exactly the same as your comic above!

so... ditto E Lee
unfollow navel gazers immediately.

Now that made me laugh! I understand twitter, I just don't understand how people can be so die-hard about it...posting every single thing they do.

Great visual to depict what few twitter 'addicts' do.

Cute. Nicely drawn. I like the facial expressions :-)

What amuses me most about this cartoon, the recent Doonesbury strips, and Jon Stewart's rif on Twitter is that we who use and like Twitter think the jokes are funny. What we don;t like are the self-styled pundits claiming that "Twitter is stupid because everyne who uses it..."

We know that yes, there are silly edge cases out there and the jokes highlight those. Jokes always highlight the silly edge cases.

]Here's hoping that poor guy on the couch finds some Twitter friends in a few weeks (and comes up with something more interesting to say!)

Perhaps Tweeter should only allow tweets from people with "slipon" shoes! Only kidding.
