Many of the social media folks think that there is an incompatibility between good blog content and lead generation.
Not true. We have over 400 blogs in our company, and like you the blogs generate significantly more traffic and leads than our main site. Are we sacrificing quality?

Here are the metrics we look at to determine quality: Bounce rate 40%, Read times of 1.30, and obviously conversion rates which are over 9%.
The Data says that people like the blogs and are happy when they find them. Remember the blogs have two duties, make the reader happy and move your business forward.

Another brilliant article. Often, when people write articles on how-tos or tips, they provide such generic information it simply isn't relevant. This article gives relevant, specific information, and goes so far as to give examples in each bullet point, e.g.: "For instance, the bottom of this article has an offer to watch a webinar about blogging." Great work!
