This is just so true, outbound marketers would rather talk about their company/products rather than finding out about who their customers are or what their customers really need!! I think the beauty of inbound marketing is that it is based upon mutuality which creates a balance by which a relationship between the company & customer can thrive.

So true! It is so annoying to talk to someone who is only interested in talking about themselves. Many marketers still have this problem, not just outbound marketers. This comic reminded me of the comedian Brian Regan's "Me Monster." Haha, fits it to a "T".

Funny...but, in real life, a good marketer will not fail in dating (marketing a possible relationship and the benefits therein) anymore than he or she would fail in selling a product.

A good storyteller can talk of a marketing project as good entertainment (content) that can give a date as much of an extra boost to complement good conversation about favorite books and movies and the other person's experiences, etc.
