Aaron Ross, CEO of PebbleStorm, blogger at ColdCalling 2.0 and the guy who started the inside sales team at Salesforce.com, asked me to write a guest blog post on his blog about "How to Generate a Steady Flow of Inbound Sales Leads".

In the article, I listed the inbound marketing techniques that are critical to attract, capture and nurture prospects using a company's website and online marketing activities.

Here's the list of activities I discussed in order of their ability to increase high quality and a high quantity of leads.

  1. Referrals & Brand Searches
  2. Free Tools/Free Trials
  3. Organic Search Engine Optimization
  4. Blogging
  5. Email Newsletters
  6. Webinars
  7. PPC
  8. Site and Email Newsletter Sponsorships
  9. Social Media

This is great. I try to inspire my clients to "give away" such valuable information as this. Hubspot is one of my favorite online companies because they have such great attitude towards this stuff. Keep doing what you are doing. I love it.

This is great information. I am working on improving our company's online presence and have worked to add or improve most of the tips listed on this post. We started our company blog about a year ago and just this spring began our email campaign which has been a great traffic producer! I am also beginning to find social media a huge benefit to any company and have been using Facebook and Twitter successfully, among others.

You may also increase your profit when you’re to use a lead management software. For one, it allows you to come up with lead database that you can update in real time, so information will always remains fresh and up-to-date. You can also keep track and nurture your leads, so that they don’t only become one-time purchasers but loyal customers.

Great post, notice how "free" things win out over "paid". Free as in they dont cost money, but they cost time and effort to produce something great!
