Are you ready for the transition? Time is almost up! According to Facebook, by the end of today, all business pages on Facebook will convert to the new page design, embracing the Timeline look whether you like it or not.
Some businesses are scared of the change. But you, the reader of this post, shouldn't be! The new Timeline design will require you to make some changes to your Facebook business page, but acting quickly and optimizing your page specifically for the new design will give you an edge on your lagging competition. To help make your transition easier, we've created a 6-step cheat sheet infographic to highlight the key features of the new page design. Feel free to pin it, share it, or embed it on your own website or blog.
And if you're looking for a more detailed guide to using the new page design, you can always download our free Step-by-Step Guide to New Facebook Business Page Timelines, which walks you through the different ways Facebook's new page features can support your marketing and strengthen your lead generation efforts.
Were you one of the earlier adopters of Facebook's new business page design? What do you think of the new layout?

Great infographic guys. We'll be posting this to our blog no doubt! We adopted a few weeks ago and have been setting up our inbound marketing clients as well. We're also announcing a special discounted rate to anyone who needs design help with their profile and cover photo as well as consulting on how to use these new features.
Here's our timeline and a few clients we've done:

it is very useful and I was really in need of it. Where I can find the "Content strategy" for the Facebook? is there a link which I should follow?

Thanks for the tips, we have had new timeline for our page for acouple of weeks now - was actually hoping you might have some insite on a problem we have been having, we host events and gigs and the problem is the right hand side of the screen is where they put 'friends' posts, from the past - so it often looks like an event is about to happen when it was actually last year - we have no way of hiding or not showing these posts - any tips?

Thanks to the heads up from HubSpot a couple weeks ago, we hopped right onto converting our own page and assisting several of our clients with theirs. Thank you!
I think that Timeline is a great format for businesses, with the cover photo opportunity to showcase your biz and the milestone feature.
The main disappointment is in FB's decision to disallow default landing pages, which some company's had gated for Fans and Non Fans. It's distressing to think of the amount of money spent to develop those web pages.

Beautiful and straightforward inforgraphic. It's nice to see a reference of what can and can't be done on the new cover photo. Glad I can still convey what my brand is about as long as there's no call to action. Thanks!

Great infographic, but Facebook is not doing right by forcing its timeline feature for all business pages. I mean it should be your own decision to use it or not.

Like the graphic both for what it is and what it represents. But how to easily print it/this article? No print button!? John

Very timely. Just implemented timeline but haven't got use to the look and feel. Suppose this will apply to Fan Pages as well?
