Imani Ellis

Imani Ellis is the founder and CEO of The Creative Collective, the largest community of diverse creatives in NYC, and the creator of CultureCon, an industry-leading conference for Black and Brown creatives. She previously served as VP of communications at NBCUniversal. A graduate of Vanderbilt University, Imani has received multiple recognitions including NBCUniversal GEM Awards (February 2016, April 2014, September 2013) and she contributed to the team recognized as Best PR Team of the Year by CableFAX in 2013. Fluent in German, Imani brings international perspective to her creative and community building work. Imani's combined media industry experience and community leadership position her as an influential voice on diversity in creative industries, community building strategies, and effective public relations approaches for creative initiatives.
