Brianne Garrett

Brianne Garrett is a journalist, editor, and producer focused on entrepreneurship, lifestyle, and food. She's the founder of Stella, a newsletter, podcast, and community platform that champions and connects Black women in media. She is also currently an instructor at Columbia University’s Publishing Course. Prior to this, Brianne served as the Managing Editor at Sweet July. During her time at Forbes, Brianne covered emerging entrepreneurs of color, women in leadership, and the culinary world. As the editorial lead for For(bes) The Culture, Brianne covered leaders forging equitable pathways for Black and Brown professionals. Brianne has also managed newsletters, staffed blogs, and orchestrated impactful events and editorial projects. This impactful work earned her and the For(bes) The Culture team an award from the National Association of Black Journalists in the Digital Media category. A dual citizen of the United States and United Kingdom, she lives between London and New York.
