I know that building a SaaS business is time-consuming. So, when it comes to creating the front-end website for your SaaS, you might not want to reinvent the wheel and design everything from scratch.

Thankfully, using pre-made WordPress SaaS themes lets you create a great-looking SaaS website in a lot less time. That means you can focus more time on building and growing your SaaS and less time on developing your website.

Streamline Your WordPress Site Launch with Our Free Guide + Checklist

In this post, I’ve curated my picks for the 10 best SaaS WordPress themes. In addition to sharing key details and pricing information, I’ll also go hands-on with each theme to give you a look at what it’s like to actually set up your SaaS website using that theme.

Table of Contents

How I Chose and Tested These Themes

Before I dig into my picks for the best SaaS WordPress themes, I want to run over how I created this list and tested each theme.

First, let’s talk about the theme selections themselves.

Nowadays, I don’t think you need to choose a niche SaaS WordPress theme. Instead, I recommend that most SaaS businesses use a lightweight multipurpose theme that includes importable SaaS starter sites. Popular names here include themes like Astra, Blocksy, and Kadence Theme.

I like this approach because it gives you more flexibility for customizing the site to match your SaaS. Plus, it’s just as easy (if not easier) to create a great-looking design without needing to code anything from scratch.

These themes are also usually better optimized for performance and are very established. You can be confident that you’ll be able to continue receiving support and updates in the future. While these details might not get as much attention as the designs themselves, I think they’re very important for building a successful website over the long term.

With that in mind, many of the themes on this list use that approach (though I did still include a few dedicated SaaS themes, in case you prefer that approach). However, I made sure that each theme I included offers at least one SaaS-focused starter site. This will help you get up and running with a great-looking design right away.

To test each theme in more depth, I used the theme to create a basic SaaS website for my fictional SaaS form builder — HubForm. This will give you a brief look at the back-end processes in each theme, so that you have a better understanding of what it might be like to build your SaaS WordPress site.

The Best WordPress Themes for SaaS Businesses

1. Kadence Theme

The Kadence Theme dedicated starter site for SaaS theme WordPress

Kadence Theme is one of the most popular WordPress themes out there. As part of its many importable starter templates, Kadence Theme offers a dedicated SaaS starter site, as well as several other starter sites that could also work well for a SaaS business.

I think that Kadence Theme has been able to achieve such popularity by offering a ton of code-free style and design customization options, professionally designed starter templates, and a lightweight codebase that will ensure your WordPress SaaS website loads quickly.

What I Like

  • It has a dedicated SaaS importable starter site (pictured above), along with other starter sites that can also work well for SaaS businesses.
  • The starter site uses the native WordPress block editor, which makes it easy for you to customize the demo content. Kadence Theme also includes a companion Kadence Blocks plugin that extends the native editor with new functionality.
  • The Kadence Theme onboarding process makes it easy to quickly add your SaaS product’s logo and brand colors.
  • Kadence Theme offers very flexible style and layout options in the native WordPress Customizer, which lets you easily customize your site without needing any coding knowledge.
  • Kadence Theme is lightweight with an emphasis on performance, which means your SaaS website will load fast.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

Kadence Theme offers a simple setup wizard that lets you instantly choose your brand colors and typography. This already gave me some easy options to adapt the importable starter site to my example SaaS business.

From there, I was able to further customize the demo content using the native block editor and some flexible options in the WordPress Customizer.

Editing the Kadence Theme demo content

As I mentioned earlier, Kadence Theme bundles in the Kadence Blocks plugin, which gives you a number of helpful new options.

Pricing

Kadence Theme has a free version at WordPress.org that already gives you a lot of flexibility. You can also access the SaaS starter site for free, as well as the free version of Kadence Blocks (which extends the native block editor).

If you want more features and design options, you can purchase the standalone Kadence Theme Pro for $79 or get a bundle of Kadence Theme Pro, Kadence Blocks Pro, and additional starter templates for $149. Kadence also regularly offers discounts for the first year that can reduce those prices.

2. Astra

One of the Astra theme SaaS starter sites for WordPress.

Astra is one of the most popular WordPress themes in existence, having the distinction of being the first non-default WordPress theme to pass the one million active install count.

While it’s not built for just SaaS sites, I think that Astra makes a great WordPress theme for SaaS companies. That’s thanks to its SaaS-focused importable starter sites, flexible code-free style controls, and quick-loading codebase.

Astra offers a huge library of 240+ importable starter designs, including multiple SaaS-focused designs. You can easily customize all of the demo content using your choice of three different editors — the native WordPress block editor, Elementor, or Beaver Builder.

To learn more, you can read our full Astra theme review.

What I Like

  • Offers multiple SaaS-focused importable starter sites, such as the Tanz Tech starter site pictured above. You can also easily adapt many of the other 240+ starter sites to a SaaS business.
  • You can choose your preferred content editor experience with support for the native WordPress editor (Gutenberg), Elementor, and Beaver Builder.
  • You get detailed customization options in the real-time WordPress Customizer.
  • Astra is lightweight and performance-friendly, so your SaaS website will load quickly.
  • The theme is very well-established, so you can be confident that it will continue receiving support and updates.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

To help me launch my site for HubForm, Astra offers a very simple setup wizard.

Once I chose my preferred builder (Elementor, for this example) and the Tech Startup starter site, I got some additional options to quickly choose my SaaS product’s colors and typography.

How to import one of the Astra SaaS starter sites

I was then able to customize the demo content using Elementor, while sitewide theme settings were available in the native WordPress Customizer.

Customizing the Astra SaaS starter site using Elementor

Pricing

The core Astra theme is available for free at WordPress.org, and you can find some SaaS-compatible starter sites with just the free version, such as the Tech Startup site from the HubForm example above. However, some of the best SaaS website designs (at least in my opinion) are only available in the premium version.

The core Astra Pro offering extends the free theme with a number of new features and design options, starting at $59.

To access all of the premium starter sites, you’ll need to purchase at least the $99 Essential Toolkit bundle. Beyond offering more starter sites, this bundle also gives you access to the Spectra Pro plugin that extends that native editor, as well as the Ultimate Addons for an Elementor plugin that extends Elementor.

3. Saasland

Saas theme WordPress, the Saasland CRM starter website for WordPress

Saasland is a popular SaaS WordPress theme that’s sold via the ThemeForest marketplace. Since its launch in 2019, it’s racked up over 8,300 sales with an excellent 4.55-star rating.

What I think makes Saasland especially unique is that it includes over 60+ SaaS-focused starter sites, whereas many of the other themes on this list only include a couple of designs. If you want the most options for finding a demo site that matches your SaaS product’s niche, that could make Saasland a good option.

What I Like

  • The theme includes 60+ pre-made SaaS starter sites, including designs for different types of SaaS products.
  • Some of the starter sites have unique, eye-catching designs (such as the example from above).
  • All of the demo content is built with Elementor, which allows for easy drag-and-drop customization.
  • Beyond the full starter sites, Saasland also includes 550+ block-level elements that you can use in your designs.
  • You get lifetime updates at no extra cost, which makes Saasland very affordable in the long run.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

When I activated Saasland, it prompted me to install a number of companion plugins, such as the Saasland Core plugin for added functionality. After installing these companion plugins via a simple interface, I was able to access the demo import tool.

To further customize the site, I was able to use the Elementor plugin, as well as a backend theme settings area.

While the backend settings area does give you a lot of control over your site, I much prefer themes that use the native WordPress Customizer because you can see a real preview of your changes as you make them.

Saasland theme settings area

With Saasland’s backend settings approach, you need to save your changes and refresh your site if you want to see how a certain choice will affect the design. This is one thing that I don’t like about the theme, though the rest of the experience is quite good.

Pricing

Saasland only comes in a premium version, which you can purchase via ThemeForest. It costs $59 for use on a single site with lifetime updates and six months of support. You can extend the support term to a full year for an extra $17.63.

4. Divi

One of the Divi SaaS starter sites, Saas theme WordPress

Divi is a popular multipurpose WordPress theme with a built-in visual, drag-and-drop builder — the Divi Builder. With it, you’ll be able to design every part of your WordPress SaaS website using this builder, from the header all the way down to the footer.

However, you don’t need to design your site from scratch unless you want to. This is because Divi’s large starter site library already has multiple dedicated SaaS website designs, as well as hundreds of other designs that you could adapt to your SaaS website.

In the past, Divi had developed a reputation for slow performance because of bloated code. While I think Divi did deserve that reputation in the past, the Divi team has put in a ton of work over the past couple of years in optimizing its code. And while Divi still isn’t as fast as a theme like Astra, Divi is now more than capable of building a fast-loading website.

To learn more about it, you can read our full Divi theme review or check out some examples of websites built with Divi.

What I Like

  • Divi offers multiple importable starter sites for different types of SaaS products. If those aren’t enough, you can also download additional layouts from the Divi Marketplace.
  • The built-in Divi Builder gives you a code-free way to customize every part of your site — including individual pieces of content or theme template files.
  • The Divi team has really worked on improving Divi’s performance over the past few years — it’s now totally possible to build an adequately fast website using Divi.
  • There’s a large marketplace of third-party Divi templates and addons, which gives you even more flexibility for finding different designs or adding useful features to your SaaS website.
  • Divi includes a built-in A/B testing tool, which I think can be really useful for helping you optimize your homepage and other product pages.
  • While there’s no free version of the Divi theme, there is a lifetime license option, which can make it very affordable over the long term.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

While you have all the tools that you need to build a website from scratch with Divi, I never like re-inventing the wheel.

For that reason, I chose to import Divi’s pre-made AI Software starter template for the HubForm website.

One little quirk with Divi is that you’ll need to import each page one by one, rather than importing the already finished site. However, I don’t think this is a big deal as it’s a one-time thing, and it only adds a few minutes to the setup process.

How to import a Divi SaaS starter site

Once I imported the layout pack, I was able to easily customize all of the demo content using the visual, drag-and-drop Divi Builder.

Using Divi Builder to customize the SaaS starter site

Pricing

Divi only comes in a premium version. You can access it via the Elegant Themes Builder membership, which lets you use Divi (and some other included plugins) on unlimited websites. You can pay $89 for a one-year license, or you can purchase a lifetime license for $249.

If you think that you’ll be maintaining your SaaS website for more than three years, I think it makes sense to purchase the lifetime license as it will save you money in the long run.

5. Sydney Pro

Saas theme Wordpress, the SaaS starter site in Sydney Pro

Sydney is a multipurpose business theme from aThemes. With the premium version — Sydney Pro — you get access to a dedicated SaaS starter site that can help you instantly get up and running with a great-looking SaaS website.

All of the Sydney theme’s starter sites use Elementor for the demo content, which I think is great because it gives you a code-free way to customize everything for your SaaS. You can also access flexible theme-wide style and layout options in the native WordPress Customizer.

What I Like

  • The theme includes a dedicated SaaS starter site, and you could also easily adapt some of the other starter sites to a SaaS website.
  • All of the demo content is built with Elementor, which gives you an easy, code-free way to fully customize your site.
  • Sydney includes detailed options in the WordPress Customizer, including flexible settings for your site’s header, footer, colors, typography, and more.
  • If you want even more control, Sydney Pro offers a custom template-building feature that lets you design sitewide templates with the native WordPress editor or the free version of Elementor.
  • The Sydney theme developers recently launched a big performance update that improved its performance and made it one of the fastest themes out there.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

To help you get up and running, Sydney Pro offers an easy demo import tool. While you’re free to choose any starter site, I used the dedicated SaaS starter site for my HubForm test site.

When importing the site, there are some options to choose exactly what content to import.

How to import the SaaS starter site in Sydney Pro

After the import finished, I was able to customize all of the demo content using Elementor. Sydney Pro also adds some enhancements to Elementor to give you even more widgets and features.

Customizing the Sydney Pro SaaS starter site using Elementor

Sydney Pro also offers detailed options in the real-time WordPress Customizer to make sitewide changes.

Pricing

There is a free version of the Sydney theme at WordPress.org that would work fine for a basic SaaS website. However, you need Sydney Pro to access the dedicated SaaS starter site. Sydney Pro also adds a bunch of other helpful features to give you more control over your site.

Sydney Pro costs $69 for use on a single site, which gets you access to all of the premium modules and starter sites.

6. Saasify (Blockify Child Theme)

Saas theme WordPress, the default Saasify theme design

Saasify is a free SaaS-focused child theme for the Blockify theme. Essentially, this means that Saasify adjusts the already-flexible Blockify theme to make it even more well-suited to building a SaaS website with WordPress.

Unlike most of the other themes on this list, Saasify uses the new block-based theme approach powered by the WordPress Site Editor (formerly known as Full-Site Editing). This means that you can easily customize every single part of your SaaS website using blocks — no code needed. Saasify also includes a bunch of pre-made block patterns to help you set things up without needing to design everything from scratch.

In general, I think that Saasify is a great option if you want to try the new WordPress Site Editor for your SaaS business. However, if you prefer the “classic” approach to WordPress themes, I would recommend choosing one of the other options on this list.

What I Like

  • Saasify uses the new WordPress block theme approach and the Site Editor, which means you can customize everything using blocks (no need for custom code or a third-party page builder plugin).
  • The theme includes pre-made block patterns for all the important elements that most SaaS websites need, including pricing tables, reviews/testimonials, feature lists, FAQ sections, and more.
  • You can easily switch up the styles using pre-made style variations. Or, you can create your own style variation to match your SaaS product and easily apply those styles across your entire site.
  • The lightweight block-based approach means that your SaaS website will still load fast.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

To get started with Saasify, I needed to install it on my site alongside the parent Blockify theme.

From there, I was able to use the Site Editor and the included block patterns to set up my site for HubForm.

Because Saasify is a block theme, there’s no need to import demo content before you start building. Instead, your site looks exactly like the demo as soon as you activate the theme. All you need to do is customize things to your preferences using the native WordPress Site Editor.

Customizing the Saasify starter site using the WordPress Site Editor

Pricing

The core Blockify theme and Saasify child theme are both available for free at WordPress.org.

There’s also a Blockify Pro version that adds more blocks and patterns, along with some other features. That starts at $97 for a one-year license for a single site or $497 for a lifetime license on unlimited sites.

7. Blocksy

Saas theme WordPress, The Blocksy SaaS app starter site

Blocksy is another lightweight multipurpose theme that makes a great option for building a WordPress SaaS website.

To help you get started, it offers a number of pre-made importable starter sites, including a dedicated SaaS website design (pictured above). When importing the demo site, you can choose between using the native WordPress editor, Elementor, or Brizy.

Blocksy also offers detailed sitewide style and layout options in the native WordPress Customizer, which lets you further customize your SaaS website without needing code.

What I Like

  • The Blocksy App starter site works great for SaaS products, and you could also adapt other starter sites to a SaaS website.
  • For the App starter site, you can choose your preferred builder from three options — native WordPress editor, Elementor, or Brizy.
  • You can customize your entire SaaS website without code thanks to detailed options in the native WordPress Customizer (plus whichever content editor/page builder you choose).
  • Blocksy has a functional free version, and its premium version is more affordable than other options.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

To create my SaaS website for HubForm, I started by importing the Blocksy App starter site, which is available for Elementor, Gutenberg, and Brizy (I chose Elementor).

While Blocksy doesn’t let you immediately customize colors and typography like some other themes, the import process is very simple and straightforward.

Saas theme WordPress, how to import the SaaS starter site in Blocksy

From there, I was able to customize the demo content using my chosen editor (Elementor).

Customizing the Blocksy SaaS starter site using Elementor

For sitewide styles and layouts, I was able to access detailed options in the real-time Customizer.

Pricing

Blocksy has a free version at WordPress.org, and you can access the App starter site using the free version.

There’s also a premium version that adds more features and design options. Blocksy Pro starts at $49 for use on a single site and a one-year license or $149 for lifetime support/updates for a single site.

8. Hello Elementor + Mobile Payment App Website Kit

Saas theme WordPress, the Hello Elementor SaaS website kit

Hello Elementor isn’t a SaaS WordPress theme by itself. Instead, it’s a blank canvas upon which you can create your site using Elementor. However, what I think makes Hello Elementor a good option for a WordPress SaaS website is that Elementor offers a pre-made website kit for a SaaS business/app.

You can use Hello Elementor as a performance-friendly foundation. Then, you can apply the website kit to instantly have a great-looking SaaS website and fully customize everything using Elementor’s visual, drag-and-drop builder. The attractiveness of this approach is why Hello Elementor is the most popular non-default WordPress theme (having recently passed the Astra theme that I featured above).

If you’re interested in building a no-code SaaS website with Elementor, I think this is one of the best options to consider. However, if you’d rather use the native WordPress editor (or a different page builder plugin), you’ll obviously want to choose a different option on this list.

What I Like

  • The Mobile Payment App website kit looks great (it’s professionally designed), and you can easily adapt it to all kinds of SaaS products.
  • You can customize every part of your site using Elementor’s visual, drag-and-drop interface — no code needed.
  • By using Hello Elementor as your SaaS website’s foundation, you’ll be able to improve load times and create a fast-loading website.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

When I activated Hello Elementor and the Elementor plugin on my test site, Elementor instantly launched a setup wizard to help me import a website kit — the Mobile Payment App website kit, for this example.

How to import the Hello Elementor SaaS starter kit

From there, I could use Elementor’s visual builder to customize every part of the HubForm SaaS website.

Pricing

While Hello Elementor is available for free at WordPress.org. There’s also a free version of the Elementor plugin at WordPress.org. You’ll need Elementor Pro to access the Mobile Payment App website kit that I featured above.

The Mobile Payment App website kit is available on the $99 Elementor Pro Advanced plan and up. You can also access it with any Elementor Hosting plan, which I think might be worth considering if you want an all-in-one platform for your WordPress SaaS website.

9. Qi

Saas theme WordPress, the Qi theme SaaS starter site

Qi is a multipurpose WordPress theme that offers 150+ importable starter sites designed in both Elementor and Gutenberg versions (though not every single starter site is available in the Gutenberg version).

That huge collection includes a dedicated SaaS starter site, as well as a bunch of other starter sites that could also work well for a WordPress SaaS website. Beyond that, Qi offers tons of code-free customization thanks to its custom editor elements and flexible theme options.

What I Like

  • In addition to the dedicated SaaS starter site, Qi also offers several other starter sites that could work well for different types of SaaS businesses.
  • You can choose between using Elementor or the native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg). Either way, the premium version adds tons of new design elements to give you even more code-free control over your SaaS website.
  • While Qi does not use the native WordPress Customizer, its custom theme options area still gives you a lot of sitewide control.
  • There’s a free version of the theme, and you can access the SaaS starter site using the free version.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

To create my HubForm website with the Qi theme, I first imported the dedicated SaaS starter site. While some other starter site designs support the block editor, the SaaS starter site is only available in an Elementor version.

The Qi theme didn’t give me any options to customize the site during the import process, but it was otherwise very easy to use.

How to import the SaaS starter site for the Qi theme

After the import process finished, I was able to customize all of the demo content using Elementor.

Customizing the Qi theme SaaS starter site with Elementor

To customize sitewide theme settings, you’ll use a custom dashboard area instead of the native Customizer. While I prefer that themes use the Customizer, you do still get lots of options for customizing your site.

Pricing

The core Qi theme is available for free, and you can access the SaaS starter site that I showcased above in the free version.

If you want access to more advanced features and 100+ custom Elementor widgets, you can get a bundle of Qi Theme and Qi Addons for Elementor starting at $79. Or, you can also get a Gutenberg bundle for the same price if you prefer to use the native WordPress block editor (just remember that the SaaS starter site is only available in an Elementor version).

10. BeTheme

Saas theme WordPress, one of the BeTheme SaaS starter websites

BeTheme is a multipurpose WordPress theme with 700+ pre-made importable starter sites. In that massive collection, you get access to 9+ dedicated SaaS starter sites, as well as tons of other designs that you could adapt to your SaaS use case.

Along with the theme, you also get access to the visual, drag-and-drop BeBuilder, which powers all 700+ importable starter sites. You can use this builder to customize the demo content, along with a detailed theme options area for sitewide customization.

What I Like

  • The huge collection of 700+ importable websites gives you lots of options for choosing your starting point, including multiple dedicated SaaS website designs.
  • The BeBuilder lets you customize your SaaS website without needing code or technical knowledge.
  • You can design other parts of your SaaS website with drag and drop, including the header and footer.
  • In addition to the complete starter sites, you also get access to a bunch of section templates for partial page designs.
  • You get lifetime updates at no extra cost, which makes it super affordable in the long run.

Setting Up a Website for HubForm

To set up my HubForm website with BeTheme, I first imported one of the pre-made starter sites using BeTheme’s simple import tool.

How to import the SaaS starter site using BeTheme

From there, I was able to customize most of the demo content using the visual, drag-and-drop BeBuilder tool (which is included with the theme).

Customizing the BeTheme SaaS starter site

The one thing that I don’t love is that BeTheme’s theme-wide settings use a custom settings area instead of the native WordPress Customizer. This means that you don’t have a real-time preview when you’re editing theme-wide settings.

Pricing

BeTheme only comes in a premium version, which is sold via ThemeForest. It costs $60 for lifetime updates and six months of support on a single site.

My Recommendations

In general, all of the SaaS WordPress themes in this post are high-quality, flexible options, which is why they made it on the list.

I recommend making your theme choice based on the available starter sites, as choosing a starter site that you already like will save you a lot of time when you’re getting up and running. If you have a preferred editor (e.g., the native block editor or Elementor), that should also play a role in your decision.

If you’re still not sure where to begin, I recommend the Kadence Theme and its SaaS starter site as a good first option. Not only does the SaaS starter site look great, but Kadence Theme also gives you tons of options in the Customizer, is very lightweight and fast-loading, and lets you choose between using the native WordPress block editor or Elementor.
